Well, I am back from probably the best vacation I have ever had. I flew out to South Carolina on the 9th to visit Derek and attend his Army Basic Training Graduation. My sister in law Krystal and nephew Jarison came along as well. It took us the whole day to get there. Our flight left SLC at 7 am then was unto Las Vegas.. I hate when they do that. Then from Las Vegas to Nashville (which was not disclosed when we purchased our tickets). Luckily we didn't have to get off just landed and took off again. Then from Nashville to Greenville, SC. From there we had to pick up our rental car and drive 2 hours to Columbia where Ft. Jackson is. That night I met up for dinner with some wives, parents, girlfriends, etc from Echo Co. Then Briana and I drove around post and figured out where we would be going the next day.
The next day was Family Day. The Soldiers were granted a on post pass. We had to rush the field and find them in formation. Sure enough I almost walked right past my own husband. It was the best hug and kiss of my life no lie!
Right after we found each other.
We had lunch at the PX which was super crowded. Did some shopping, went to a BBQ with our Echo Co. friends, and played at the park. We picked up Popeye's Chicken for dinner and had a picnic in the park. The park was awesome and Jarison had so much fun with his favorite Uncle :)
We had to have him back at the barracks by 19:30 (7:30 pm) It was super hard to leave him that night.
The next day was graduation. It was awesome to see everyone dressed up especially my husband in his Class A uniform :)
After graduation they got a off post pass. We went to lunch at some really yummy Mexican restaurant on the way back to the hotel. Then after we just relaxed for hours at the hotel. It was really nice not to have to fight any crowds to do anything. Then we went to dinner at Outback. Derek really wanted a good steak! Once again we had to have him back at the barracks. I kinda felt bad cause everyone dropping their soldier off were crying and having to say goodbye again. I was very lucky cause Derek stayed at Ft. Jackson for AIT so I knew I would at least see him on Sunday for church before we left.
The next day he checked into AIT, I got a text around 10 that morning saying I could pick him up at 5 and he didn't have to be back to post until Sunday at 6. I was so excited. We had heard that I might get to spend the weekend with him. I expected at minimal to be on post. Not off post and certainly not overnight! It was so great to spend the whole weekend with him. We relaxed Saturday morning by sleeping in and going to breakfast. It was great cause he got to feel Kayson moving and kicking around all morning in bed. We also hit up the local zoo which was fun but tiring for me being this far along.
We also got the chance to walk the grounds of the Columbia, South Carolina Temple. It was very pretty. On Sunday we attended the branch on post. It was very interesting especially cause they start sacrament with game scores lol. Sunday night we had to say our goodbyes.
However, AIT has been much better. He gets his phone every night for a couple of hours. On Sunday he had a day pass so we texted and talked the whole day. Only 58 more days till he is home for Christmas for 2 weeks and we are getting sealed during that time as well :) It was a great trip and I am anxious to find out where we are moving to after I have the baby.

34 days.... 131 days.... and 150 days
That is a lot of days!!! So in 34 days I will get to spend some time with Derek. My sister-in-law Krystal and my nephew Jarison are all flying out to Ft. Jackson South Carolina Oct. 9th to watch my amazing husband become an official soldier of the U.S. Army. I am SO excited. He left at the end of July. It has gone by alright. I did have a scare with the baby where I was bleeding, but I got Rogham and I am okay now. Derek and I write letters almost everyday to each other. I got my first phone call on Monday of 17 min when his platoon made it to White phase. I seriously can not wait to see this sexy man again!
Okay so in 131 days.. Our baby BOY is due!! We are SO thrilled to have a boy. I really felt like he was a boy at like 10 weeks and was really happy to know that I was right. We found out at 16 weeks the week Derek left. I am now 22 weeks. We are stalking up and cute boy stuff for sure. With still a lot of neutral stuff for when we have more kids, as far as bedding, car seat and that stuff goes. He is kicking a lot now, more so in the day. Which is good for a week he was a night owl and I was suffering big time lol. He is such a fun little spirit in there already.
Kayson Robert Billings Due: Jan 15, 2013
Here is a picture of his super cute jungle bedding I got at Ross 10 pieces for $35, it was a steal! When we get his room together when we move we will adjust the mattress up higher. We are missing a part but my handy hubby should be able to figure something out.

Official!!!
Well as most of you know Baby Billings #1 is well on its way :) I am 15 weeks pregnant. I am super stoked to be a mom and I just know that Derek is going to be the best daddy in the whole world :). I am so grateful for heavenly fathers hand in all of this and I am grateful for the chance to have an eternal family.
Derek leaves for basic training and AIT with the Army in a couple of weeks and I sure will miss him a lot. I know this wasn't the best timing but it was the lords plan and from that I can take comfort that everything will work out the way it was meant to be.
Here are a couple of photo's from yesterday. I work for the clinic that my OB is in and yesterday our sweet ultrasound tech gave me a sneak peak to see if we can find out the gender before Derek leaves. However this baby has a mind of its own. It was super wiggly, and super stubborn! It kept kicking me, then folding its legs Indian style. It even did a full back flip and ended up getting the cord stuck right where we needed to look. So hopefully next time it cooperates a bit more :).

Holy crap its May!
That means only 3 more months till Derek leaves for Basic Training. For those who didn't know Derek joined the Army back in Febuary. He is enlisted for the next 4 years as 91 Bravo a.k.a. Wheeled Vehicle Mechanics. I am thrilled for him and know he will make an awesome soldier. As for me I am excited to start our new adventure as an Army Wife :).
Its been awhile since I have blogged. So, here is an update. In March we played around with family and celebrated my 23rd birthday. We went to buffalo Wild Wings and had a wonderful time. Needless to say my wonderful husband spoiled me like crazy :)

Then came April,
In April we celebrated Easter with some friends in our ward. Carmen and Ryan Walters. Also another military family which is super nice to know I have such great support in our ward. We also got the chance to see some of my family for a bit and then head over to Dereks parents.
We also enjoyed conference and with the privilage of having Derek home to watch it. Derek got laid off shortly after he joined the Army and had to find another job. His old job had him working all day on Saturdays and now his new job he works Monday-Thursday with 10 hour days which is super nice..
We also got the chance to go on our first vacation! We kept it simple so we went down to Las Vegas for a few days!
On our way there
St. George Temple
It was really bright
Our awesome "Billings" sign that we got on the way at Moapa Indian Res
Finally shopping around
It was Dereks first time
The cokes from around the world. The Beverly from Italy was nasty!
On top of the stratosphere where we stayed
The fountains
Needless to say we had a blast. We seriously grew so close on our trip and it was awesome. May is going to be interesting. We are both working tons which is good so we can save and pay off debt but we honestly wont be seeing much of each other because of that. Anyways that is all for now :)

Update in the Billings home
Hmm where to start, so much is happening!
Derek has been working towards his goal of joining the Army. He took his test last week and got a pretty good score. He is looking into either engineering or Helicopter mechanics. We are hoping to delay him from leaving until the end of September but he could be leaving as soon as May. We will know hopefully here in a couple of weeks. Other than that he has been working tons and still doing plasma.
I have been working a lot lately, but it slowed down this week, giving me a chance to do some much needed house work and some blogging of course. :) I will be taking my CMA exam in April with will get me nationally certified so I can get a job when we move next year.
We went up to Logan to see some of my family for the superbowl. It was a lot of fun to be with my sister, her little family, my step dad and my brother as well.
Here is a pic of how big little Sawyer is getting.
For Valentines we decided to celebrate early and go to dinner and to the boat show with Natalie, John, and Dereks parents. It was a lot of fun, especially looking at the boats we can never afford. Here is a pic of Maverick driving the boat (which is the only thing he enjoyed :))

It's about time!
Okay so sorry everyone. I have been totally slacking in the blogging department. Derek returned home from serving an honorable LDS mission in Kentucky Sept. 28th. Then Sept. 30th while sitting in the temple my best friend asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes. We sealed the deal Dec. 15th and could not be happier.
This is the only wedding picture we have so far...
Anyways, an update in the Billings Family. I graduated from Broadview University on Dec. 22nd right before Christmas.
Christmas was amazing with Derek by my side finally... no more packages.. for now!
Maverick (dereks nephew) turned 1 in Nov and Jarison is turning 1 this next week.
My nephew Sawyer Wade is soooo cute! I just cant get over that tiny little guy!
I got offered and accepted a job with UCMA in Payson soon to join Central Utah Clinic as a Medical Assistant, I seriously have the most amazing co-workers of all time.
Derek is getting our affairs in order for a couple more suprizes to come in the Billings household, Dont worry we will let everyone know once we know what is happening :) and no Im not prego.
Life is just great right now I cant wait to see what 2012 brings to us!

I love to see the temple
This week it was annouced that they will FINALLY break ground on the Payson, UT Temple
Oct. 8th 2011 at 9 am by Elder Dallin H. Oaks.
I am so incredibly excited for this seeing as how I live right up the hill from where it will be built.
Can I just express the joy of being able to go to the temple brings?
I absolutely love the blessings I have been able to enjoy from being endowed and I look forward to being sealed in the temple to my best friend one day.
Temples bring so much joy and so much strength in any time of need.
